Former Leeds United left-back Ian Harte has told fans to keep their eyes on current academy forward Jack Clarke, stating he is a “top talent.”

The 16-year-old forward, who is considered a bright prospect in the Yorkshire giants’ youth ranks has featured for each of the Under-16s, 18s and 23s for Leeds already.

However, it is still thought that there is a long way for him to go before he can start contending for a place in Thomas Christiansen’s side, while many have also faltered at making the step up to senior level after standing out in the youth ranks.

But, Harte, who represents a number of the Leeds youngsters, including Clarke believes he will go all the way and told fans to remember his name for the future via his personal Twitter account on Tuesday.

Leeds have invested heavily into their youth ranks since Andrea Radrizzani took over with the likes of Madger Gomes, Adrian Balboa and Hugo Diaz all joining among many others.

Clarke himself was not part of that group, but  the club have also brought through the likes of James Milner, Danny Rose, Jonathan Woodgate, Charlie Taylor and Ronaldo Vieira in the past and the young forward is certainly at a productive academy.
