Spanish Giants Barcelona are reportedly joining Liverpool and Arsenal in the hunt for Thomas Lemar’s signature, according to a report.
The Daily Mirror claims that Barcelona are now interested in the highly sought after Monaco midfielder despite the player being able to demand a contract in excess of £250,000 a week.
The wage demands are not reported as a stumbling block for Liverpool despite their current top earner Philippe Coutinho reportedly being on the much lower sum of £150,000 a week.
The French international’s current contract at Monaco still has three years left to go, expiring in June 2020.
The 21-year-old has been Monaco since July 2015 having joined from Ligue 1 side SM Caen where he made 35 appearances scoring one goal and registering six assists.

Lemar has played 13 times for Monaco this season, scoring one goal and creating 3 assists for his side.
Arsenal nearly captured the player in the summer with a last minute £90million bid, which Monaco vice-president Vadim Vasilyev said only failed due to the side running out time.
Liverpool did also try to secure the services of the winger in the summer, but had two of their bids rejected. The highest bid being rejected, reportedly being worth £64.8million according to Sky Sports News.
In other Liverpool transfer news, Klopp is reportedly interested in securing the services of a Champions League winning goalkeeper.
