Liverpool and Jurgen Klopp are interested in Monaco wonderkid Kylian Mbappe, but there has not yet been any formal bid for the teenager, according to a report.
The Liverpool Echo have responded to reports in Spain claiming that Monaco have rejected a formal £64.2million bid from the Reds for the 18-year-old by stating that they understand the Merseyside giants have not yet made a move for the player who is on the club’s radar.
The young forward has risen to prominence this season and the Liverpool Echo has detailed that European giants Real Madrid, Manchester United and Barcelona are also also said to be interested in securing his signature with the Galacticos considered to be his most likely future destination.
However, it is also reported that Monaco billionaire owner Dimitri Rybolovdev has stressed that his club does not need to sell it’s bright prospect and that they have placed a €100million price-tag on Mbappe, which translates to £85.6million in British money.
The young centre-forward has caught the eye of a number of European clubs this season after finding the back of the net on 26 occasions in 43 outings in all competitions while also providing 14 himself and he is sure to have a number of side’s interested in his signature this summer.
