Report details shocking reason behind Tottenham ace Edwards having Norwich spell cut short
Tottenham and Norwich decided to cut short Marcus Edwards' loan spell at Carrow Road because of his poor time-keeping as he shockingly failed to turn up to a single training session on time, according to a report.
The Telegraph claims that the leadership at Norwich were left baffled by the 19-year-old's inability to turn up to team meetings on time and failure to gel with the rest of the playing squad.
Edwards, 19, made just one appearance for the Canaries that last 16 minutes after joining them on loan in January.
Both Spurs and Norwich confirmed on Tuesday that the wonderkid, who was compared to Lionel Messi by Mauricio Pochettino, had returned to North London due to 'personal reasons'.
However it now seems that the real reason behind having his deal cut short was down to his attitude and lack of professionalism and all parties involved came to the agreement that it was a complete waste of time to have him on loan at Carrow Road.
