Report details West Ham stance on midfield starlet
By Harvey Byrne
West Ham have no intentions of letting young midfield starlet Domingos Quina leave this summer despite reported interest from Euro giants Paris Saint-Germain, according to a report.
Hammers news site Claret and Hugh have responded to a report from the Mirror suggesting that the French club had met the 17-year-old’s family.
Clarent and Hugh state that Quina is happy in east London, while manager Slaven Bilic is also a big admirer of the Portugal Under-19 international, which could help him stay at the club.
Additionally, the young teenager made two first team appearances for West Ham in the Europa League last season after signing last year and he made a further 13 appearances on the club’s bench.
He is also still contracted to West Ham until 2019 and the club who have helped bring through the likes of Frank Lampard, Rio Ferdinand and Michael Carrick in the past will be hoping to add Quina’s name to the illustrious list.

Football Insider verdict:
Quina is an exciting young talent for West Ham and the club must do all they can to ensure they can keep him. Supporters have become disgruntled at the lack of youth products in the first team while David Gold hasn’t helped the situation with his comments on social media website Twitter. The sale of a young player considered to have immense potential like Quina will only cause more concern among the supporters about the future of the club despite some impressive senior signings this summer and the Hammers must ensure that they keep hold of the Portuguese teenager.
