Liverpool are eyeing Bury teenage duo Jacob Bedeau and Callum Styles, according to a report.
ESPN has named the Reds alongside Manchester City, Manchester United and Everton as interested in the League One pair.
Styles, 16 is a midfielder who has played in four matches for Chris Bass’ senior team this campaign.
Meanwhile, Bedeau is a 16-year-old centre-back who has recently fought his way into the back four of his side.
The Shakers are currently struggling in the English third tier with goal difference keeping them out of the drop zone.
However, it is believed that their recent emergence has caught a number of top flight sides interests.
Bury have produced some good players in recent times and the Reds have already signed youngster Emeka Obi from them this campaign.
Meanwhile, Everton snapped up Matthew Foulds from the Greater Manchester side in the 2016 winter window.
It is believed that the League One side view the young duo as two of the best to come through their ranks.
But, they are now resigned to seeing them leave for greater things in the near future.
Football Insider verdict:
Liverpool have been linked with a number of young players since Jurgen Klopp took over and it is clear to see what the German manager is attempting. The former Borussia Dortmund boss built up a young team in Germany that was eventually able to dethrone Bayern Munich on two occasions. There isn’t a consistently dominant team in the Premier League, but it looks as though Klopp is trying to recreate a dynasty at Anfield. He has already gave plenty of opportunities to players in the youth team and if he sticks to his methods of signing young players he could turn the Reds into a force for years to come.
