Tottenham have already picked up £23million as a result of their performances in the Champions League and are set to see yet more finances boost their coffers thanks to their European escapades, according to a report.
Football news website football.london claim that Spurs have already seen in excess of £20million into their account thanks to their five wins and a draw in their six group stage matches, which has seen them top the table heading into the knockout rounds.
It is said that a win in the group fixtures is worth £1.3million in prize money, and a draw £436,000, which has left Mauricio Pochettino and his men picking up a healthy boost to the finances of the club.
They have also seen £5.2million come in as a result of their achievement of reaching the round of 16 stage, and there could be more expansion in terms of finances on their way dependent on their performances in the latter stages.
It is claimed that there could be a total of £50million total if Spurs were to pick up the Champions League trophy, while they are also set to receive a percentage of the £507million pot which is set to be distributed across all the sides which have taken part in the group stages and onwards.
