Sky: Tottenham make emphatic transfer decision about £13m Champions League ace
By Dominic Toner
Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino is happy with his left-back options Danny Rose and Ben Davies, according to a report.
Sky Sports claim that Spurs are not in the running for Monaco full-back Benjamin Mendy, despite being interested in him last summer.
It is understood that Pochettino will not plot a move for the highly rated 22-year-old and is content with his current left-back pairing.
Spurs’ decision not to pursue Mendy, who moved to Monaco for £13million from Marseille last summer, could end any potential move for Manchester United ace Luke Shaw, who is reportedly desperate to move to White Hart Lane in the summer.
The Sun claim that the 21-year-old is “desperate” for a reunion with his former boss Pochettino and wants to end his torrid stint at Old Trafford.

Shaw previously worked with the Argentinian boss at Southampton and is very keen to link-up once again.
Spurs have proved to be very strong in the full-back areas and have four fantastic options at their disposal.
Kyle Walker and Kieran Trippier have been contesting the right-back spot, while Rose and Davies are available on the opposite flank.
England international is regarded as the first-choice under Pochettino, but is currently sidelined with a serious knee injury.
Davies has made a seamless step up to the starting XI and is helping Spurs compete with Chelsea for the Premier League title.
In other Tottenham transfer news, the club’s senior figure is subject to a summer tug-of-war.
