Arsenal fans have taken to Twitter in ‘fear’ of their former striker Nicklas Bendtner, who is in advanced talks to sign for Championship giants Nottingham Forest.
The 28-year-old is close to securing a move to Philippe Montanier’s side, and could find himself in the team to face the Gunners in a fortnight as the teams are set to meet in the third round of the EFL Cup.
The Guardian have claimed that the former Arsenal star is in advanced talks with Philippe Montanier’s side and could sign as a free agent.
Bendtner is a free agent after being released by German giants Wolfsburg back in April, following breaches of discipline.
Now Arsenal fans are worried that their former striker could come back to haunt them come September 20.

Bendtner scored 47 goals and supplied 22 assists in 171 appearances for Arsenal, after graduating from their academy. He joined the north London giants in 2004 from his home country before making his Arsenal debut in 2005 against Sunderland in a League Cup game.
The nomadic striker has since had loan spells with Birmingham and Italian Champions Juventus as well as Sunderland, before he moved permanently to Wolfsburg in 2014.
