Celtic are confident of signing three new players before the end of the week, Football Insider can reveal.

The Scottish champions are working on multiple deals as they look to reinforce Neil Lennon's squad following what has been a difficult summer in the transfer market.

A Celtic source has told Football Insider the club want to sign two full-backs and a versatile attacking player before the Scottish window cut-off next Monday.

The Scottish treble winners keen to recruit a left-back to recent signing Boli Bolingoli-Mbombo and, as revealed by Football Insider, are in talks to sign Kilmarnock's Greg Taylor for around £1million.

Lennon also wants a right-back after once again using Kristoffer Ajer as an emergency option in that position in yesterday's 3-1 win over Hearts at Parkhead.

There is also genuine hope at Celtic the club can recruit a blue-chip attacking player capable of slotting straight into the first team.

The Hoops have made a loan offer for Bournemouth winger Jordon Ibe but, as revealed by Football Insider, will have to pay the entirety of his wages to get the deal over the line.
