Everton are lining up a move for Birmingham City hot-shot Che Adams ahead of the summer window, Football Insider understands.
Adams is regarded as one of the best young players outside the Premier League after earning rave reviews for Birmingham this season.
The skilful attacker scored his 22nd goal of the season with the winner against promotion-chasing Leeds at the weekend and scouts from a host of clubs have been keeping tabs on his progress this summer.
Birmingham rejected several offers from Southampton and Burnley during the January transfer window as they managed to keep hold of their prize asset, but they are expecting more offers for Adams this summer.
A club source told Football Insider that Everton are keen to bolster their striking options for next season having struggled for goals again this term and the recruitment team led by Marcel Brands see Adams as a potential star in the making.
