Revealed: Liverpool ready to sell 22-yr-old in January after he makes quit plea

Liverpool are willing to sell midfielder Pedro Chirivella in January after he called on the club to let him return to Spain, Football Insider has learned.

The 22-year-old revealed in a recent Marca interview he is eyeing a move back to his homeland in the winter window.

A Liverpool source has told Football Insider the club are ready to grant Chirivella his wish barring a midfield injury crisis in the next few months.

The Spaniard is out of contract at the end of the season and the January window offers the last opportunity for Liverpool to secure a fee for him.

He joined in 2015 but has made just seven appearances for the club, mainly in the domestic cup games, and has been out on loan three times,

With a plethora of international stars ahead of him in the Anfield midfield pecking order, the chances of Chirivella getting much more game time outside of the League Cup is remote.

In other Liverpool news, it can be REVEALED that the club have made preliminary moves to sign attacker before the end of December in quickfire transfer.
