Revealed: Major update on West Ham bid to sign new right-back
West Ham attempts to sign a new right-back are set to go down to the wire after multiple bids tabled, Football Insider can reveal.
The Hammers have abandoned their pursuit of Matty Cash from Nottingham Forest as they are unwilling to meet the £18million asking price.
Both bids are still on the table and they remain in the Premier League outfit’s sights ahead of the transfer cut-off tomorrow night.
As revealed by Football Insider, West Ham had a £12m offer rejected by Nottingham Forest last week for Matty Cash.

That pursuit is now offer as the Londoners believe Forest are asking for too much money as they don’t want to offload such a key player when they’re third in the Championship and well placed to secure promotion.
The Londoners are scouring Europe for a right-back capable of replacing Pablo Zabaleta, who is out of contract in the summer.
The Argentine was dropped from the starting XI for last night’s 2-0 Premier League defeat to Liverpool at the London Stadium.
David Moyes made the shock move to hand 19-year-old academy product Jeremy Ngakia his first-team debut and may put his faith in the youngster going forwards if the club can’t seal the right deal.
