Marco Silva is willing for Everton to sell Idrissa Gueye for an enormous £30million profit this summer as long as he gets the cash to reinvest in the squad, Football Insider understands.

The Goodison Park manager is aware there will not be the same huge spending of previous transfer windows and that his kitty will depend upon raising funds through player sales.

One prize asset who is attracting elite-club interest is Senegal international Gueye, who came close to joining Paris Saint-Germain in January only for Everton to pull the plug because they did not have a replacement lined up.

An Everton source told Football Insider that PSG and Manchester United are keeping close tabs on Gueye as they admire his industry and tenacity in central midfield.

Silva is aware that the 29-year-old could be eager to leave and secure a transfer to an elite club and will not stay in his way if Everton can secure a £30million profit on the player they signed from Aston Villa for £7million in 2016.

Gueye has made 107 appearances for the Merseysiders during the last three seasons, including 32 Premier League starts in the current campaign.

He has three years remaining on his Everton contract.
