Arsenal fans are gutted with at reports that star midfielder Aaron Ramsey is set to miss the Carabao Cup final with a persistent groin injury.
The Sun reports that Ramsey has already been ruled out of the Europa League clash against Ostersunds on Thursday night and that Arsene Wenger is unlikely to gamble with his fitness on Sunday.
He would be a big miss on Sunday with the Carabao Cup likely to be the best chance of silverware for the club this season.
Ramsey has only started two of Arsenal’s last 11 league games because of injury and the Sun claims that even if he does make the bench he won’t play a major part in the game.
That’s got Arsenal fans worried ahead of the clash with table-topping Man City, with one going as far as to say “RIP our cup dreams if Ramsey does not make it for Sunday.”

However, one Arsenal fan bucked the trend and said that Ramsey’s absence wouldn’t make any difference to Arsenal’s chances in the cup.
He said he was more worried about the back five rather than the attackers.
No Ramsey is not a big blow to Arsenal. Wilshere, Elneny, Mkhitaryan, Ozil and Aubameyang as a front 5 will be fine. But the back 5 is the problem.

The Carabao Cup final plays out on Sunday at 4.30pm and will be broadcast live on Sky Sports with or without Aaron Ramsey.
