By Harvey Byrne
Goalkeeper Rob Green has boasted on Twitter that Leeds will finish in the play-off places at the end of the season and it could backfire on the experienced man.
The Yorkshire giants had been in the top six of the Championship table since November after moving up to fifth following a 2-1 win against Rotherham at the New York Stadium.
However, they finally dropped out of the play-off places on Monday after a 1-0 defeat at Elland Road against Wolves saw them fall down to seventh spot.
First teamer Green has stood firm with the belief that the club can finish in the play-off places as he shared in a passionate Twitter message to fans on Tuesday evening that the club still have “six cup finals left,” despite there being just three fixtures left of the 46-match season.

Additionally, even if Leeds do make the play-offs then they will be guaranteed just two extra games with the play-off final at Wembley making it six fixtures left for the club.
However, supporters will certainly be hoping that Green’s foresight comes true as they remain eager for the team to end the presitigious side’s 13-year wait for Premier League football.
