Paul Robinson has claimed there is "absolutely no way" Harry Kane will leave Tottenham before the Euros next month.

Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the former White Hart Lane number one revealed he expects chairman Daniel Levy to drag any potential deal for the 27-year-old into pre-season.

Sky Sports reported last week that Kane wants to seal an exit from Spurs before the Euros kicks off on 11 June.

Robinson warned Kane, who has three years remaining on his contract with Spurs, that Daniel Levy is in control of his future.

"Kane seems to forget who is in control of this situation," he told Football Insider.

"I completely understand why he wants to leave and like every other Spurs fan across the world I would wish him all of the best if he was to leave.

"Daniel Levy is in control of that situation though. He has three years left on his contract and he will only leave if somebody pays the money that Daniel Levy wants.

"He will have the best interests of Tottenham at heart and he will know that Kane will leave a massive whole in that team if he leaves. Is £100million enough to fill the hole? I don't think so. If you buy five players at £20million, they will not be at the quality you need to play European football.

Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy

"Kane wants it done before the Euros, well I can tell now you that there's absolutely no way this is done before the Euros.

"Levy will want the best deal for Spurs and that's if he is even willing to entertain offers. I wouldn't be surprised if Kane is still there come pre-season."
