Koeman took over the Everton managerial role in the summer after leaving Southampton following the departure of Roberto Martinez.
He had been tasked with the job of returning the Merseysiders into the Premier League’s top seven after a couple of 11th placed finishes under Martinez.
The 54-year-old is now on task to meet the target with 13 points separating them from West Brom in eighth with five games left and he will now be aiming to take Everton as high as possible in order to help keep stars Romelu Lukaku and Ross Barkley.
