Sanchez may have played last game for Tottenham after agent reveal - Whelan
Davinson Sanchez may have played his last competitive game in a Tottenham shirt, according to Noel Whelan.
The former Leeds United striker, speaking exclusively to Football Insider, claimed the 25-year-old has been “a failure” since arriving to the Premier League in a near-£40million deal in 2017.
As quoted by Football.London (16th July), Sanchez’s agent, Nestor Villarreal, revealed he is “on the lookout” for a new club for his client.
It comes after Football Insider reported in May that the centre-half would be sold regardless of who the new manager was.
The Colombia international and Toby Alderweireld, who told the club he wants to leave this summer, look likely to leave in a defensive shake-up in north London.
Sanchez has three years remaining on his contract in north London having put pen to paper on an extension in May 2018.

When asked by Football Insider‘s Dylan Childs if Sanchez was on borrowed time at Spurs, Whelan said:
“Yeah, I think he’s played his last game for Spurs.
“I’m not a big fan, to be quite honest with you. When he has been in the side, which has not been that often, he has not produced the goods. He has been a bit of a failure really.
“Lots of players come into the English game and struggle and he is one of them. He has never got used to the tempo and the aggression of the Premier League.
“The quality has not been there since he has joined Tottenham.”
