Scottish pundit makes 'huge' Celtic-Midtjylland claim after what he's seen
Celtic face a “massive” task to beat FC Midtjylland tonight after an uninspiring start to pre-season, according to Alan Hutton.
The former Scotland defender, speaking exclusively to Football Insider, claimed the Hoops “didn’t look ready” in their warm-up games.
Celtic kick off their Champions League qualifying campaign with a home tie against Midtjylland.
The Danish outfit started their domestic campaign last Friday (July 16th) with a 2-1 defeat to Odense Boldklub.
Celtic meanwhile lost 1-0 to Preston North End in a friendly on Saturday.
The Hoops beat Sheffield Wednesday and Charlton and drew with Bristol City in their other pre-season matches.

Hutton admitted he was not convinced by the Bhoys’ performance against Preston.
As such, he predicted a “very difficult” clash for Ange Postecoglou’s men tonight.
“Postecoglou is focused on the game tonight which I think will be a very difficult game,” Hutton told Football Insider’s Russell Edge.
“Celtic have got a massive job on their hand just to get by Midtjylland, if I’m honest.
“I saw the game against Preston and to be honest, Celtic didn’t look ready for this kind of game yet.
“It’s a huge ask for them to get through this tie.
“I’ve watched a couple of games. They’ve got a sprinkle of first-team players, a lot of youth.
“I’m not sure that’s going to be enough to break into that Champions League or challenge Rangers.
Postecoglou named a side mixed with youth and experience against Preston.
Vasilis Barkas, Greg Taylor, Callum McGregor and Albian Ajeti were among the more senior stars.
Meanwhile, fellow starters Stephen Welsh, Osaze Urhoghide, Liam Shaw, Owen Moffat and Adam Montgomery are all 21 or younger.
