Paris Saint-Germain right-back Serge Aurier has dropped a huge hint on Twitter that he has been granted authorisation to join Tottenham.

Now, just eight minutes after 12.00pm Aurier sent out a Twitter message via his personal account with a tick emoji and seven fire emojis in a huge hint that the move to Tottenham is going ahead.

Aurier was once seen as a very bright prospect when making his move to the French capital from Toulouse in the summer of 2014 before going onto play in 81 matches in total for PSG, returning five goals and 15 assists.

He also helped PSG to two Ligue 1 titles and was included in the league's team of the year twice in 2014 and 2016.

However, off the field altercations with manager Laurent Blanc and teammates Agel Di Maria and Zlatan Ibrahimovic have since seen him fall out of favour at the cash-rich European club.

If he is now to move to Tottenham then Aurier will be hoping to get his career back on tract in England and possibly even helping Spurs to their first Premier League title.
