Sheffield United may bin three big names as Jokanovic ready to swing the axe - Paddy Kenny
Slavisa Jokanovic may want to cash in on Sheffield United players approaching the end of their contracts while he still has the chance.
The trio, who are all over the age of 32, were regulars last season but are entering the final 12 months of their respective United contracts.
The Blades will begin life in the Championship next season under new management in the form of Slavisa Jokanovic.
Kenny claims that the trio’s experience could prove vital as United battle for promotion but admitted he wouldn’t be surprised to see Jokanovic jettison them.
“They are all in their 30s but you’ve got to think about their experience,” he told Football Insider correspondent Adam Williams.

“Is it worth cashing in? They’ll all be very good players in the Championship and hopefully play a massive role in getting them back to the Premier League.
“For me, they need to stay. But the manager might not think that, he might want his own players. We see that often so I wouldn’t be at all surprised.
“But I think it might be worth keeping them around for their experience when they’re going for promotion.”
Sharp, McGoldrick and Basham have collectively amassed 722 appearances in United colours.
McGoldrick was named Player of the Year last term after netting nine times throughout the campaign.
