Bryan was 'free agent for a reason' after West Brom news confirmed - Kenny
Kean Bryan was a “free agent for a reason” and will not be greatly missed at Sheffield United.
So says Blades icon Paddy Kenny, speaking exclusively to Football Insider after Byran’s move to West Brom was confirmed on 7 September.
This site revealed the previous day that Albion were readying talks to sign the 24-year-old on a free transfer.
Bryan quit United over the summer after he refused to sign a new deal at Bramall Lane.
He featured 19 times in his three years with the club but it took a defensive injury crisis last term before he made his real breakthrough.
Bruyan made 15 appearances between January and May as the Blades were relgated from the top flight.

And Kenny insists that the centre-back will not be a great loss to Slavisa Jokanovic’s side.
He told Football Insider correspondent Adam Williams: “He is on a free transfer so it’s only his wages they’ll pay.
“I think it could be a decent move for him and for West Brom. They are going to have a big chance of going up again this season.
“But you have got to understand that these people are free agents for a reason. It wasn’t long ago that he was out on loan.
“He got into the team because of an injury crisis. It will be interesting to see how much game time he gets at West Brom.”
Bryan did not make the matchday squad for the Baggies 1-1 draw with Millwall yesterday (11 September).
United meanwhile got their first league win of the season with a 6-2 demolition of Peterborough.
