Sky Sports pundit draws comparison between Tottenham youngster and Paul Gascoigne

Former Liverpool centre-back and Sky Sports pundit Phil Babb has compared Tottenham star Dele Alli to past great Paul Gascoigne.
Ex-Spurs and England midfielder Gascoigne is regarded as one of the best players to have graced the game after a hugely successful playing career.
He helped Tottenham to an FA Cup victory in 1991 while also winning two Premierships with Rangers and starring as England made their way to fourth place finish in the 1990 World Cup.
Now, youngster Alli has been tipped for a similar career as he stars for the north London club in the Premier League and Babb told Sky Sports on Wednesday that the last Englishman to possess the same ability as the 21-year-old was Gascoigne.
“He’s (Alli) got fantastic feet and you can see there he’s got a bit of swag about him,” started Babb speaking on Wednesday morning’s Premier League Daily show on Sky Sports news.

“He’s just got so much ability and I think about English midfielders and think who was that creative? Last one I can think of was Gascoigne that had that ability to win matches on his own and Dele Alli certainly has that.”
Alli joined Tottenham for £5million from League One outfit MK Dons in the 2015 winter window.
He has already paid that fee back and more after featuring 17 times for England at the early stages of his career, while also helping Spurs to a third place finish in the last campaign.
Now, this season he is starring once more as Tottenham sit in second place and the classy attacker has returned a stunning 19 goals and 10 assists in 42 appearances in all competitions.
In other Tottenham news, Glenn Hoddle has made a huge claim about this reported Spurs target.
