Sources: Aston Villa plan to accept £17m bid for El Ghazi
Aston Villa are planning to sell Anwar El Ghazi and could secure a fee of up to £17million, Football Insider understands.
Roma have a strong interest in the Dutch winger, 26, and talks are set to get underway over a deal this month.
A Villa source has told Football Insider that the club are looking to cash in for a fee of around £15m-17m.
The upper limit would be enough to secure a deal for a player much admirer by Jose Mourinho, the new Roma manager.
This site revealed yesterday that Villa are looking to cash in on El Ghazi and Wesley after signing three senior attacking stars this summer.
Leon Bailey, Danny Ings and Emiliano Buendia have all joined for £25million-plus fees, with Jack Grealish heading out to Man City.

Manager Dean Smith accepts his squad is currently too full, and that could mean Wesley going overseas on loan and El Ghazi leaving on a permanent deal.
Football Insider revealed last month that Villa manager Dean Smith is willing to listen to offers for the wide man despite his strong finish to last season.
El Ghazi netted four times in the last seven Premier League matches to end the campaign with an impressive 11 goals from 31 games in all competitions.
But Smith believes the attacker has reached his ceiling and will reach a higher level in terms of his personal performance.
That has opened the door for Roma to make a move for a player who moved to Villa Park from Lille, initially on loan, in the summer of 2018.
El Ghazi is perhaps not coincidentally also a client of Mourinho’s agent Jorge Mendes.
