Sources: Leeds United starlet Casey agrees personal terms with Blackpool
Blackpool have agreed personal terms with Leeds United starlet Oliver Casey, Football Insider can exclusively reveal.
This site revealed on 8th June that the newly-promoted Championship club were in talks to lure the 20-year-old from the Premier League big guns.
A Blackpool source has told Football Insider that the club have had their contract offer accepted by Casey as he puts the finishing touches to the transfer.
It is expected that the versatile youngster, who can play in midfield as well as his favoured defensive slot, will join Neil Critchley’s side this month.
United will not stand in the way of Casey even though he signed a new three-year contract last summer.
The clubs have held talks over the deal and the fee is expected to be below the £1million mark.

Casey was linked with a loan move away from Elland Road in January but a temporary exit failed to materialise.
He has made three first team appearances for Leeds, with his most recent runout in the shock 3-0 loss at Crawley Town in the FA Cup earlier this year.
However, none of those appearances came in the Premier League despite the academy product being named on the subs bench nine times last season.
His pathway into the first team has been blocked by senior quartet Liam Cooper, Diego Llorente, Robin Koch and Pascal Struijk.
Critchley has had his eye on a move for Casey for some time as he strengthens his squad for their 2021-22 Championship campaign.
The Seasiders secured promotion with victory in the League One play-off final against Lincoln City last month.
