It was revealed the stopper had suffered a fractured eye socket and cheekbone after a clash with Cardiff defender Sean Morrison.

He returned quicker than expected but was dropped to second choice following his return.

Coventry finished 16th in the Championship after a strong end to the campaign.

Shrewsbury finished just one place below the Sky Blues after they finished their season in opposite form.

The Shrews won just one of their last 10 Championship games.

Marosi looks set to leave Coventry after making 61 appearances in all competitions.

Shrewsbury will be looking for a less disruptive 2021-22 after suffering heavily through covid issues.

The Shrews had an outbreak of coronavirus themselves while other fixtures were cancelled due to other club’s similar issues.
