Sources: Crystal Palace regularly scouting Celtic star Matt O'Riley
Crystal Palace are keeping close tabs on Celtic star Matt O’Riley, sources have told Football Insider.
The 22-year-old has emerged as one of the Hoops’ most in-demand stars following a golden first 18 months in Glasgow.
Palace are among the Premier League sides trailing O’Riley and it is believed Celtic now face a major battle to keep him at Parkhead.
The Denmark Under-21 international has a contract until the summer of 2026, but Celtic may have to offer him improved terms in order to keep him content.
O’Riley is a big creator from central midfield for Ange Postecoglou’s side and has 12 assists to complement four goals in 48 appearances across all competitions this season.
He has failed to appear in just one game this season – the Scottish League Cup win over Ross County in August 2022.

O’Riley is reportedly closing in on a first senior call-up for Denmark – with the next set of international fixtures to come next month.
The midfielder started his career at Fulham but was released by the London club in 2020.
He signed for MK Dons following that disappointment and registered 10 goals and eight assists in 54 games for the English side before joining Celtic for a reported fee of £1.5million plus add-ons in January 2022.
The London-born star, who represented England as a teenager, is not the only Hoops midfielder attracting attention ahead of the summer window.
Football Insider revealed on Thursday (11 May) that Brighton are still chasing Celtic star Reo Hatate and are very keen on a summer swoop.
Crystal Palace are 12th in the Premier League and have secured Premier League survival after amassing 40 points.
