Everton are lining up a move for Queens Park Rangers goalkeeper Seny Dieng, sources have told Football Insider.

The 27-year-old shot-stopper is also attracting strong interest from Bournemouth, Monaco and Lille as they prepare to enter the market for a new keeper.

The clubs have been making regular checks on Dieng ahead of the January window.

Dieng has established himself as one of the best goalkeepers in the Championship to throw his QPR future into major doubt.

The keeper, who is set to go to the World Cup with Senegal, has been instrumental in helping QPR into promotion contention this season, keeping five clean sheets in 20 Championship games.

He has played every single minute of QPR's 21 games in all competitions during the 2022-23 season.

Dieng has been at QPR since August 2016 but only made his league debut for the club in September 2020 after five loan moves to five separate clubs.

He has since made 94 appearances for the R's in all competitions, leading him to earn a first cap for Senegal in March 2021.

Dieng was also part of the Senegal side that won the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations.

Jordan Pickford remains the number one at Goodison Park with Asmir Begovic signed as a backup in the summer of 2021.

Begovic, 35, started as Everton were beaten 4-1 by Bournemouth at the Vitality Stadium on Tuesday (8 November) as they crashed out of the Carabao Cup.

Lampard's sides' final Premier League game before the World Cup is against the same opponents at the same venue on Saturday (12 November).
