Sources: Everton to listen to offers for two star men as Moshiri plots total overhaul

Everton will listen to offers for Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Richarlison this summer, Football Insider has learned.

The Merseysiders could cash in on both of their prize assets irrespective of whether they avoid Premier League relegation.

A source with knowledge of Everton’s recruitment has told Football Insider that there is expected to be a major overhaul following a wretched campaign and that could end with the two star men leaving.

This site revealed on Monday (17 April) that Richarlison, 24, has told his representatives he is keen to quit this summer.

The future of Calvert-Lewin, 25, is also up in the air after a campaign ruined by injury.

Owner Farhad Moshiri is plotting a total overhaul of the squad that has struggled so badly under a series of managers despite vast investment.

The Toffees have spent over £500million on players since Moshiri took control in February 2016.

However, Frank Lampard’s side are embroiled in a relegation fight with only three points separating them and the bottom three.

Everton have posted significant financial losses for three successive years and there is a realisation that the books need to be balanced.

Richarlison and Calvert-Lewin are two of the club’s most valuable assets.

A £50million signing from Watford in July 2018, Richarlison has just over two years left on his contract at Goodison Park.

Calvert-Lewin’s current contract runs until the end of June 2025.

The England international has not scored since August.

In other news, Kieran Maguire has claimed a group ‘loathed’ by fans can help Everton close ‘£100million’ gap on the elite.
