Sources: Fisher undergoes Swansea medical after MK Dons agree seven-figure fee
Swansea have agreed a deal for MK Dons goalkeeper Andrew Fisher and he is currently undergoing a medical in south Wales, Football Insider understands.
Swans boss Russell Martin a big admirer of the 23-year-old having worked with him during his own time at MK Dons.
A recruitment source has told Football Insider that the League One club have agreed a seven-figure fee for Fisher after their manager Liam Manning admitted they had accepted an offer at his Monday lunchtime media conference.
Manning admitted he was “disappointed” with the timing of the bid and revealed the stopper will not be involved in Tuesday’s game against AFC Wimbledon.
Football Insider first revealed Martin’s interest in reuniting with Fisher on 4 December.
Martin left the Dons to join the Welsh outfit in August following the exit of Steve Cooper.

The 35-year-old manager is now looking to players he knows and trusts in a bid to seal a top-six finish this term.
Swansea find themselves 17th in the Championship and 13 points off the play-off places.
Ben Hamer has been the Swans’ number one in the league this season.
He has kept seven clean sheets in his 17 league outings so far.
Fisher has kept six clean sheets in 23 league Outings with the Dons seventh in League One.
Fisher could make his Swansea debut on Saturday (15 January) against Huddersfield.
He leaves MK Dons after making 54 total appearances.
