Sources: Henderson to leave Man United in January amid ‘100%’ claim
Dean Henderson is heading out of Man United in January, Football Insider can exclusively reveal.
The 24-year-old has made it clear to the United hierarchy he wants a winter window move after failing to supplant David de Gea as the number one.
A United source has now told Football Insider the club will listen to loan offers for Henderson, who is free to line up a January move.
A temporary transfer is now said to be “100%” likely to happen, the source added.
It comes just 15 months after he signed a lucrative five-year contract worth more than £100,000-a-week that runs until 2025.
United chiefs still view Henderson as the long-term successor to David de Gea, 31, who has returned to his best this season.

Newcastle United have been linked with a move for the England international despite the presence of three senior goalkeepers at St. James’ Park.
Henderson has made just one appearance for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side this season, an EFL Cup defeat at home to West Ham in September.
The English shot-stopper had high hopes going into this season after overtaking De Gea in the pecking order at the back end of the 2020-21 campaign.
He made 26 appearances across all competitions and started 10 of the last 12 Premier League fixtures that term.
A loan move in January would see Henderson complete his fifth temporary exit from Man United.
The academy product has enjoyed loan spells at Sheffield United, Shrewsbury, Grimsby Town and Stockport already.
