Sources: Hull City plot move to sign Jean Michael Seri after Fulham news
Hull City are plotting an ambitious move for free agent Jean Michael Seri following his Fulham exit, Football Insider understands.
Hull are expected to be busy in this summer’s transfer window as they build a squad capable of challenging for Premier League promotion.
A recruitment source has told Football Insider that Tigers owner Acun Ilicali is ready to sanction a move for Seri, 30.
The Ivory Coast midfielder helped Fulham win promotion back to the Premier League this season, making 33 appearances in the Championship.
But the club have opted against offering Seri a new deal and he is free to find a new club.
Fulham announced their 14-man list of released players this week.

Cyrus Christie, Michael Hector, and Alfie Mawson among those walking away from Craven Cottage.
Seri notched one goal and six assists as the London side won the Championship – scoring 106 goals in the process.
The 34-cap Ivory Coast star joined Fulham from OGC Nice in 2018 for a reported £25million.
He made 34 appearances in the Premier League during his first season but was powerless to avoid the Cottagers’ relegation.
Seri spent the next two campaigns out on loan at Galatasaray and Bordeaux.
He then returned to England for the final year of his Fulham contract.
Hull City finished 19th in the Championship during their first season under the ownership of Turkish businessman Ilicali.
As quoted by Hull Live (22 May), the 52-year-old has insisted he will snub “big names” in favour of “good, useful players” as he bids to return the Tigers to the Premier League.
The East Yorkshire side have been linked with the likes of Mesut Ozil and Ryan Babel in Turkish media.
