Sources: Liverpool and Man United chase Evan Ndicka as offer rejected

Man United and Liverpool are keen to sign Eintracht Frankfurt star Evan Ndicka, sources have told Football Insider.

Ndicka has rejected multiple attempts by Frankfurt to tie him down to a new contract and the Premier League giants are monitoring his situation.

The 23-year-old will be one to watch in the summer window when several clubs will be fighting for his signature.

The centre-back's current contract with the German club expires in the summer when he will be available for free after rejecting a new deal.

Both United and Liverpool are looking to strengthen their defensive lines this summer.

Fellow central defender Joe Gomez has been struggling this season and has failed to meet the mark when filling in for Virgil van Dijk or Ibrahima Konate.

The Red Devils signed Maguire for £80million back in 2019 and are unlikely to make back the money they spent on the defender.

Ndicka has made 35 appearances for Frankfurt across all competitions this season and has scored one goal and provided one assist in those outings.

The Frenchman was part of the Europa League winning team who defeated Rangers on penalties to lift the trophy last summer.
