Liverpool are ready to sell Rafael Camacho for around £10million this summer after he rejected a new contract, Football Insider understands.
Football Insider revealed earlier this week that the teenager, 18, had snubbed the club’s offer of a five-year deal to replace his current agreement, which expires in June of next year.
A host of top European clubs are actively monitoring the versatile winger’s situation at Anfield as they weigh up moves for him this summer.
Teams from Germany, Spain, France and Portugal are targeting Camacho and are hoping the offer of regular first-team football could help prise him away from Anfield.
A well-placed source has told Football Insider that Camacho’s interested suitors have been encouraged that a fee in the region of £10m could see Liverpool decide to do business on the talented attacker.
Camacho came close to joining Sporting Lisbon on loan in January but, as revealed by Football Insider, Klopp blocked the transfer because he wanted him to stay in the first team squad.
The rising star has made two first-team appearances, a start in the FA Cup and a Premier League substitute cameo, both of which were in the less familiar position of right-back.
In other Liverpool transfer news, the club are set to sell Klopp’s first signing for a £20million-plus fee after his quit plan is revealed.
