Sources: Man United finalise Jadon Sancho signing after terms agreed

Man United have agreed personal terms with Jadon Sancho and are now close to agreeing a fee and payment structure with Borussia Dortmund for Jadon Sancho, Football Insider understands.

Negotiations are continuing today between the clubs over what would be a sensational signing and the biggest in the world so far this summer.

A United source has told Football Insider that a full agreement for a transfer worth £77.5million could be tied up within days.

Sancho would not complete the move until England’s involvement in this summer’s Euros come to an end.

But most elements of the transfer are now agreed and ready to be signed off barring the formalities.

Dortmund have given the green light for Sancho to leave and reduced their original asking price from £85m a few months ago to £77.5m.

United have been working on the deal behind the scenes for months after coming close to an agreement last summer.

Sancho has accepted the 20-times Premier League champions’ offer of a five-year contract worth £350,000-a-year.

It will instantly make him one of the top earners in the English top flight as well as across Europe.

Previous caution that what has been a very complicated and expensive transfer could be finalised are now giving way to a confident among those involved that the deal is all but done.

Sancho, who has not started any of England’s three matches at the Euros, is keen to return to his homeland after four years at Dortmund.

Ole Gunnar-Solskjaer has made it a priority to recruit a right-sided forward who can provide pace and a major goal threat.

Sancho has been one of the most effective wide men in the Bundesliga in recent seasons.

He scored 16 goals and provided 20 assists in 38 matches last term, and has hugely impressive hauls of 50 goals and 64 assists from 137 Dortmund appearances.

In other news, a pundit has said Man United are “coming in now” with huge bid for superstar in stunning move.
