The centre-forward joined Nathan Jones’ side from Oxford United on a free transfer in July 2016.
In 170 total appearances for the club he has contributed 62 goals and 18 assists.
Hylton has also enjoyed spells at Aldershot Town, Oxford United and AFC Wimbledon during his career.
