Sources: Son tells Nuno he will be at Tottenham next season in 'huge boost'
Son Heung-Min is staying at Tottenham next season in a huge boost to new boss Nuno Espirito Santo, Football Insider understands.
The South Korea icon is one of the club’s two prize assets and there has been speculation he could quit along with star man Harry Kane.
But a Tottenham source has told Football Insider that Son, 28, has already indicated to new boss Nuno he is looking forward to playing for him next term.
The versatile attacker is out of contract in two years and has attracted interest from elite clubs including Bayern Munich.
Tottenham have offered Son a new five-year deal worth more than £200,000-a-week and he was close to penning terms before Christmas.
Spurs have always been hopeful he would stay and not agitate for a move like the club’s player-of-the-year Kane.

Were Son to follow him through the exit door, there would be mutiny in the stands.
Nuno wants to build his team around the club’s two star men after taking charge on a two-year contract.
Son has long been widely regarded as one of the Premier League’s most dangerous attackers.
He has formed a potent partnership with Kane and maintained high standards during a difficult 2020-21 campaign for the club.
The 89-times international scored 22 goals and provided 17 assists from 51 matches.
In 280 Spurs appearances in total, Son has netted a hugely impressive 107 times as well as laid on 64 assists.
