Sources: Swansea City reject two QPR bids for Paterson
Swansea City have rejected two offers from Queens Park Rangers for Jamie Paterson, Football Insider understands.
The forward’s long-term future at Swansea is in doubt as he is currently training with Swansea’s Under-23s because he is unhappy with his contract situation at the club.
A recruitment source has told Football Insider that Swansea have so far rebuffed two bids from QPR for the Paterson this month.
There are also believed to be other clubs interested in him.
Paterson has been one of Swansea’s star performers this season, scoring eight goals in 21 appearances after arriving in south Wales as a free agent.
However, he has not featured in his side’s last three games as speculation over his future continues.

As quoted by WalesLive on Wednesday (26 January) Swans boss Russell Martin admitted it would be “brilliant, beautiful, fantastic” if Paterson stayed at the club beyond Monday’s transfer deadline.
He also revealed the only way the attacker would be sold is if a club met Swansea’s valuation.
The Swans were toothless in front of goal during Tuesday’s (25 January) 0-0 draw with QPR.
Paterson is the club’s second top scorer this season with only Joel Piroe bagging more.
Tellingly, after Paterson’s eight-goal haul, Olivier Ntcham is the club’s next top scorer with three.
QPR are looking to boost their chances of securing a place in this season’s play-off places after a strong start to the campaign
As it stands, the Rs are only four points off second place and have a game in hand on two of the three teams above them.
In other news, it can be exclusively revealed one QPR player has agreed a loan move away from the club.
