Tottenham are holding fresh talks this week as they work on a double deal to sign Fulham star Ryan Sessegnon and his twin brother Steven, Football Insider understands.

The Londoners are confident of agreeing a fee with the Cottagers for left-winger Sessegnon, who is also eager to make the short move from west to north London.

A source with knowledge of Tottenham recruitment has told Football Insider the club also have the less famed Steven in their sights, as they look to bring in a new right-back.

Football Insider revealed the possibility of a double swoop on Fulham at the start of this month and the two clubs are in fresh talks this week about the transfers of the 19-year-old duo.

The possibility of Steven moving with his twin brother to Tottenham is dependent upon the club re-jigging their right-back position, with Kieran Trippier the subject of strong interest from Juventus.

If Trippier stays at the new White Hart Lane, it could end Steven's hopes of joining Ryan at last season's Champions League finalists.

Fulham accept they are set to to lose Ryan, who has snubbed their offer of a new contract and has made up his mind to join Tottenham.

He has his heart set on playing for Mauricio Pochettino and has not had his head turned by interest from Manchester United and Borussia Dortmund among leading European clubs.

The more famed of the Sessegnon twins has already accumulated 120 first-team appearances since breaking into the Fulham first team aged 16, while brother Steven has played four times as a right-back since making his senior bow in the League Cup aged 17.

He has a contract with the London club that runs until 2022, while fellow England youth international Ryan has a deal that expires next summer.
