Sources: Tottenham in advanced talks to sign four senior stars
Tottenham are in advanced talks to sign four senior stars as Fabio Paratici works on multiple deals simultaneously, Football Insider understands.
The Spurs managing director is negotiating the captures of defenders Cristian Romero and Takehiro Tomiyasu, goalkeeper Pierluigi Gollini and winger Bryan Gil.
A Tottenham source has told Football Insider that final talks are taking place on all four deals.
But Paratici casts his net wide during the transfer window and it is possible not all deals will be completed.
The former Juventus transfer chief is renowned for negotiating for more than five players for a single position at the same time to ensure he eventually signs at least one.
Revamping Spurs’ back line is a priority for Paratici and he is in the market for a centre-back and a right-back.

Both Argentina international Romero and Japan international Tomiyasu can slot in to both positions, versatility that new manager Nuno Espirito Santo will appreciate.
It remains to be seen if Tottenham sign just one of the versatile stars, or both, but at least one is highly likely.
In addition to the possible signings of the Bologna and Atalanta stars, Spurs are also working on a loan-to-buy deal for Romero’s club teammate Gollini.
The goalkeeper is known to English audiences after his spell at Aston Villa.
Tottenham are also in negotiations for Sevilla winger Gil, 20, as part of a deal that would see Erik Lamela and £21.6m head the other way.
