Sources: Tottenham plot Ivan Toney move amid £100m reveal
Tottenham have a strong interest in banned Brentford striker Ivan Toney and will assess a potential January move for him, sources have told Football Insider.
Spurs watched the 27-year-old closely last season and he will be firmly on their radar again when he is back available to play.
Toney, who is currently serving an eight-month suspension for breaching betting rules, has changed agents to join CAA Stellar, which represents the likes of Jack Grealish and Gareth Bale.
When Toney's ban expires on January 16 he will have 18 months left on his Brentford contract.
He is valued by Brentford at £100m and Thomas Frank has hailed the former Newcastle forward as one of Europe's outstanding strikers.
Tottenham are in the market for a replacement for Harry Kane but are running out of time with just days remaining in the summer window.
