Tottenham have offered a two-year scholarship contract to midfield starlet Han Willhoft-King, Football Insider can exclusively reveal.

The Under-15s midfielder enhanced his reputation by recently putting Arsenal to the sword with two goals in Spurs Under-17s' 9-0 thrashing of their rivals.

A Tottenham source has told Football Insider that the club have moved to secure Willhoft-King to a scholarship and want a deal done ahead of the new year.

The goalscoring midfielder has made such an impression for the Londoners he has already made his debut in the Under-18 Premier League.

Willhoft-King is among a group of young talents who have already been offered early scholarships by the London giants.

Football Insider revealed the club have also offered the two-year deals to 15-year-old attacker Samuel Amo-Ameyaw, 15-year-old centre-back duo Archie Chaplin and Pele Arganese-McDermott as well as 15-year-old goalkeeper Elliot Krasniqi.

Spurs typically offer scholarships around February or March, with the deals then starting on 1 June.

But Tottenham, like with Krasniqi, Amo-Ameyaw, Arganese-McDermott and Chaplin, are keen to tie down Willhoft-King ahead of the new year to avoid him being snapped up by rival teams.
