Sources: West Brom to let Zohore go in January after Ismael green light
West Brom are planning to offload striker Kenneth Zohore in the January transfer window, Football Insider can exclusively reveal.
The Danish forward does not figure in Valerin Ismael’s plans after slipping down the pecking order in recent months.
A West Brom source has told Football Insider that the club are keen to let Zohore, 27, go to free space in their squad and trim the wage bill.
Zohore has just over 18 months left on his current contract, which expires in the summer of 2023.
He has not featured in the Championship since the opening two games of the season.
The striker has not been a regular for the Baggies since the 2019/20 season though he only made 17 appearances during that campaign after struggling with a thigh injury.

Another thigh injury meant he could only make 17 appearances while on loan at Millwall last season.
During his time at the Den, Zohore only scored two goals.
This season, Zohore has been featuring for Albion’s Under 23 side.
He has bagged four goals in five outings in the Premier League 2 but this form has so far failed to earn him a recall to the first team.
West Brom are struggling in front of goal and again drew a blank on Tuesday night as they drew 0-0 with Blackpool.
This means the Baggies have only scored one goal in their last five Championship games.
Ismael’s side sit third in the second flight after Tuesday’s draw.
They are next in action against Nottingham Forest on Friday night.
