Sources: West Ham plotting to sign Scott McTominay after '£25m' reveal
West Ham could move for Scott McTominay this summer as Man United prepare to listen to offers, sources have told Football Insider.
Sources told this site on Sunday (19 February) that the Red Devils are confident that the 26-year-old will fetch £25million in the off-season.
West Ham are planning for Declan Rice‘s potential departure this summer as a host of top Premier League and European sides queue for his signature.
Rice will have 12 months left on his contract at the end of this season and it is widely expected he will leave the London Stadium.
The Irons recruitment team are believed to be planning for the future and scouring the market for potential replacements – despite uncertainty over their top-flight status.
It is understood that Lazio midfielder Sergej Milinković-Savić is also on the radar but bigger clubs are expected to swoop in if he becomes available this summer.

West Ham are inside the Premier League drop zone and are a point from safety ahead of Saturday’s crunch fixture against Nottingham Forest.
McTominay’s current contract with Man United runs until 2025, with an option to extend by a further 12 months.
This season, he has made 24 appearances across all competitions but has completed a full 90-minute match just eight times.
Throughout his six years in the first team at Old Trafford, McTominay has made a total of 195 appearances – scoring 18 goals.
A final decision is yet to be made on his future but he is likely to be among a list of players transfer-listed this summer after falling out of favour with Erik ten Hag.
West Ham currently have Flynn Downes, Lucas Paqueta and Tomas Soucek in their central midfield ranks – as well as Rice, who is edging towards the exit door.
