Wolves are set to complete the signing of Olympiakos goalkeeper Jose Sa in the coming days, Football Insider has learned.

Super agent Jorge Mendes is simultaneously negotiating the sale of Rui Patricio to Roma and the Molineux capture of his other client Sa.

A recruitment source has told Football Insider that Sa has agreed the terms of a move to Wolves and has packed his bags ahead of the transfer being finalised.

The Midlands club will get the Patricio deal over the line and then register Sa as their fourth summer signing.

He will follow left-back Rayan Aït Nouri, centre-back Yerson Mosquera and loan forward Francisco Trincao.

Wolves have had a bid of around £7million accepted for Sa, who is 28, a title winner at Olympiakos and has Champions League experience.

This site first revealed Wolves' interest in Sa on June 8th.

He has been at the Olympiakos permanently since 2019 after a successful loan spell the previous year.

Before that, he was at Porto, when he was managed by former Wolves boss Nuno Espirito Santo.

Bruno Lage was appointed as the club's new boss following Nuno's surprise departure at the end of last season.

Wolves' good form disappeared when Raul Jimenez picked up a head injury November and missed the end of the season.

However, Patricio was ever-present in goal and performed well despite his side's drop in form.

Patricio has spent three years at Molineux and has only missed two Premier League games during that time.

He joined the club from Sporting Lisbon in 2018.
