Everton have been told Wolves will accept a £10milion bid for Adama Traore this summer, sources have told Football Insider.

But the winger, 26, is hopeful of securing a move to a top-four Premier League club.

Wolves are willing to cash in on Traore with 12 months remaining on his contract.

Goodison director of football Kevin Thelwell is a big admirer of Traore and lured him to Wolves as a club-record signing in 2018.

Everton would pay Wolves' asking price but their hopes of landing the super-quick forward are up in the air as he holds out for elite-club interest.

Barcelona took the winger on loan in January and had the option to seal a permanent deal this summer - but opted not to trigger it.

Traore notched 17 outings for the La Liga club - bringing his total return for the 2021-22 season to one goal and four assists in 40 appearances.

The Spain international has struggled to recapture the form of his outstanding 2019-20 campaign - during which he scored six goals and contributed 12 assists.

The former Middlesbrough and Aston Villa ace has now racked up 160 appearances in the Premier League but has failed to refine his end product during that time.

Traore has notched a total of eight goals and 16 assists in the top flight.

The winger is not the only Wolves player interesting Everton as Frank Lampard attempts to steer the Toffees clear of relegation danger.
