Sources: Wycombe Wanderers in advanced talks to sign Wolves star Chem Campbell
Wolves midfielder Chem Campbell is in advanced talks to join Wycombe Wanderers on loan, sources have told Football Insider.
Campbell, 20, is highly regarded at Molineux and has made six appearances in the first team this season.
A number of clubs have expressed an interest in the youngster, but Wycombe are putting the finishing touches to a deal to take the attacking midfielder on loan.
Campbell is yet to feature under new Wolves boss Julen Lopetegui, who has tied up a number of reinforcements in the January window.
The Midlands club have added Mario Lemina, Pablo Sarabia, Craig Dawson and Matheus Cunha to their ranks this month.
Campbell became the second-youngest starter in Wolves history at 16 years old when he was named in the side to face Aston Villa in the League Cup in 2019.

He has gone on to make eight appearances for the club – but is yet to make a second start in Wolves colours.
The midfielder, who was once the subject of interest from Borussia Dortmund, signed a fresh four-year contract in October 2022.
Wolves have the option to keep the former Wales Under-17 international at Molineux until June 2027.
Campbell, who can play across the front line, has notched 20 goals and 10 assists in 80 games at youth level.
Wolves have enjoyed a turnaround under Lopetegui’s stewardship and are now outside the Premier League drop zone on goal difference.
Wycombe are eighth in League One and are hoping to secure a playoff berth in the second half of this term.
The Chairboys are next in action against Port Vale on Saturday (4 February).
