Watford smashed Chelsea 4-1 at home on Monday night, with midfielder Abdoulaye Doucouré playing a starring role with two late assists.
Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino was spotted in the crowd watching the game, and now Spurs fans have taken to Twitter to urge him to sign the 25-year-old midfielder.
Doucouré is enjoying a standout season at Watford, despite his club’s struggles, with seven goals and three assists in 25 Premier League games.
He arrived in Watford for a fee of £9.5million from Stade Rennais in February 2016, and spent the second half of that season on loan at Granada.
He made 20 Premier League appearances for Watford last season but has come alive in this campaign, and he’s starting to get himself noticed.
Tottenham fans would love to see him in north London and took to Twitter after the game on Monday night to urge Pochettino to sign him.
