Stan Collymore: This man is responsible for Wolves woes, sends warning to fans
By Harvey Byrne
Outspoken pundit Stan Collymore has picked out football agent Jorge Mendes as the man currently responsible for the dismal form of Wolves.
The 51-year-old was handed a role as both a scout and an agent at the Midlands side after the club were taken over by Chinese group Fosun in the summer.
He has so far overseen 11 permanent transfers at the club, while another six have joined on loan.
Collymore was critical of the club’s use of Mendes back in January, labelling the owners as “rookies” after they paid out a club-record £13million fee to sign Helder Costa permanently.
He has now taken more swipes at the well known agent, labelling as the reason for Wolves’ current poor form, while warning fans on his personal Twitter account to be scared.

to be fair Stan, he is responsible for our best 2 players. I agree it's not sustainable though

Wolves are currently sat in 18th place in the Championship under the guidance of Paul Lambert.
They have already sacked Walter Zenga earlier in the season due to their disastrous performances on the pitch and the Midlands side will be keen to avoid falling back into League One after only winning promotion back to the second tier in 2014.
In other Wolves news, fans slammed Lambert’s decision to drop Ben Marshall ahead of Tuesday’s clash with Brentford.
